hi! i’m mia broder. graphic designer. artist.
lover of creativity & curiosity.

celebrating the end of one’s story
with respect & beauty.

exploring family histories.
from finding ancestors to creating books
that capture family memories.

I grew up on the back pasture of my grandparents’ farm in Stockbridge, GA. After finishing at the University of Georgia with a degree in Advertising. I spent six months in Europe, then enrolled at Creative Circus for art direction. A year into the program I decided I needed more variety in my design work and transferred to Portfolio Center for design. I’ve spent the last 15 years as a freelance graphic designer. My clients have ranged from large construction companies, the healthcare industry, local governments as well as small start-up businesses. I enjoy helping start-ups find their story the most.

In 2020 I found my love of genealogy. It is more than the research and discoveries that I find intriguing. Taking what I’ve learned and creating heirloom pieces that tells the family story is what I find most fulfilling.

Using my creativity to give back is a true passion of mine. Starting in 2015 I began teaching art at Haven House (a domestic abuse shelter). I joined Haven House’s board of directors in 2024. For the last year and a half, I’ve been fundraising for a couple in Kharkiv, Ukraine to help them get through the war.

For me, creativity is more than just a hobby, its a way of life.
